As with all the Siesta Heron properties, a cobblestone patio leads the way to the front door, offering a place to sit and enjoy quiet moments at a small table and chairs. The door to Captiva opens directly into the living room of the open concept space, a room that provides comfort and welcoming and a comfortable sofa that opens into an even more comfortable queen sized sleeper. Up to four guests can enjoy the comforts of Captiva, making it the ideal getaway for small families, honeymooning couples, or solo travelers who are looking to step outside their comfort zones and explore the world on their own.

Updated appliances grace the fully equipped kitchen in this charming cottage, providing a gas range, a large refrigerator, microwave, and small appliances that make vacation life even happier; coffee and tea drinkers will appreciate the Keurig coffee maker and tea kettle. A breakfast bar provides seating for guests to enjoy any or all meals prepared in this modern space.

The spacious bedroom is anchored by a king bed topped with silky soft linens and a generously sized window that can be shuttered against the morning sun or left open for occupants to enjoy the beauty of another day in paradise. A ceiling fan keeps the room comfortable in the cooler months and two bedside lamps help to encourage reading; you have carried that best seller clear across the country and now is the perfect time to lose yourself in its pages.

Although the interiors of Captiva and all our Siesta Heron units are tranquil, comfortable, and inviting, chances are you will spend more of your time outside playing than inside relaxing. A community pool surrounded by lounge chairs is heated during cooler months and a large deck that looks out over Herron Lagoon provides a place to soak in to the tranquility of the serene body of water that adds to the charms of the property. Beach cruisers and beach gear are provided for guests use, gas grills can be found throughout the community, and a coin operated laundry can come in handy when you travel light, knowing you will be doing a lot of shopping during your stay! The beaches of Siesta Key are as close as a mile away (Turtle Beach) but no further than 3 miles away (Siesta Key Beach) ensuring you can frolic in the surf as much as you like.
