The free Island Trolley is ready to take you to the north end of the island to visit the village of Anna Maria, where two historic piers offer opportunities for fishing and dinning. Shops restaurants, galleries, and even a museum and community theater can also be found on the north end of the island.
Holmes Beach, you can get off the Trolley to enjoy more excellent shops and restaurants, as well as a marina, library, free community tennis courts, and several gyms open to visitors.
You will also want to explore the rest of Bradenton Beach. Historic Bridge Street was once the location of the very first bridge to the mainland. Today's Cortez Bridge, just a bit to the north, is made out of sturdier stuff than the original wood structure, but the original street is still there, and it is a fun place for shopping, dining, live music, a weekly open-air market (in season), fishing, and even miniature golf!

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS: One week minimum reservation Saturday to Saturday required during peak season and summer months. 5 night minimum reservation required during all other periods unless booking 30 days or less in advance, 3 night minimum may be accepted. Small pets are allowed on a case by case bases.

Unfortunately the back-flow issue with the toilets was a island wide issue as reported by local authorities, we made every attempt to rectify the matter as promptly as possible. The cable issue was also due to the storm as well. Everything at the unit was back up and running directly following the storm.

This 2 bedroom 2 bath property located minutes from town and the beach is the perfect location for those guests who enjoy getting out and exploring the area. As per our lease agreement which all guests MUST read and agree to PRIOR to booking "Landlord shall provide towels, linens, cups, knives, forks, spoons, dishes and other items as common use. Toilet paper, soap, dish detergent, laundry soap, shampoos, and other consumables are to be purchased by the Tenant. No reimbursement will be made for unused consumables left at the premises. If consumables exist at the premises when the Tenant arrives the Tenant is free to use them." This is made clear to the guest prior to them making a reservation with us as well as reiterated 6 weeks prior to arrival to allow guests to plan accordingly.

A beautiful home, decorated and maintained to a high standard, you can tell Joe's place is looked after very well. We arrived to find new linen and towels and we immediately made it our home-from-home for four nights.
The lay out is simple but effective, yet spacious enough to not feel confined. The kitchen is brand new and better than ours at home (!) and the fridge is immense. Fresh & clean cold water straight out of the refrigerator was SO WELCOME on a boiling hot afternoon.
Aside from the general beauty, we really appreciated the large washing machine, dryer, kettle, two modern bathrooms and a huge smart TV. Best of all was the use of deck chairs and parasol, which we took to the beach every day. It made our beach time - in 100+ heat - nice and shady with cool drinks! Essential for kids.
The street is quiet, cosy and safe, with a path that leads to a strip of small stores and a handful of restaurants. The pristine beach, complete with nesting turtles, is a seven minute walk down another quiet street.
We never wanted to leave and while we were there we even enquired about the house opposite (which was for sale). Wish we were still there! We miss you Anna Maria Island...
The unit was located on a very quiet cul de sac with a great private back yard. Loved the unique shell driveway! There was a new barbque and table and chairs plus some comfortable lounge chairs out back.
The only disappointing thing about the unit is that it is nothing like the sketch shown in this picture. A new picture of the front of the unit was added to the listing along with pictures of the back yard.
We were there during march break so traffic was very heavy. Other than traffic loved the location. It was a short walk to a great beach and very close to shopping facilities.
Can't imagine anyone being disappointed renting this unit.
